The DesignLights ConsortiumR (DLC) is a project of Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP), a regional non-profit founded in 1996 whose mission is to serve the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic to accelerate energy efficiency in the building sector through public policy, program strategies and education.
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), LED Lighting Facts is a voluntary pledge program to assure that LED lighting products are represented accurately in the market. Participants pledge to use the LED Lighting Facts label to document the performance of products they manufacture, sell, distribute, or promote.

The RoHS directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) is a European Union law restricting the use of 6 hazardous substance in the production of electronic equipment. Under this directive lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardant use must be strictly reduced. Meteor Solar LED products are fully RoHS compliant.
The Ingress Protection (IP) Code is used to rate the degree of protection provided by enclosures against the intrusion of solid objects, dust and particles, or liquids. Meteor Solar LED products have attained a rating of IP 68, which is the very highest attainable in terms of protection against both solids and liquids.
CE certified and operating at low voltage (1.8V-3.3V), METEOR products are totally safe from electric leakage and can be used near areas such as fountains and pool decks without risk.
METEOR LIGHTING warrants SOLAR LED products to be free from defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of three years from date of invoice; LED products, when properly installed and operating under normal conditions of use, are warranted to our customers for a period of 5 years, from the date of shipment.
