METEOR solar LED products make use of the best ultracapacitors(EDLC) available. This power solution helps increase the stability of the product and offers unmatched life-span. While most batteries die within 2-3 years, ultracapacitors offer 8-10 years of use.
METEOR bollards incorporate advanced high-capacity LiFePO4 batteries which are often used in electric vehicles. LiFePO4 batteries can be recharged at a faster pace and for more cycles. This technology is safe and not prone to catching fire or exploding if overcharged. With a 3x longer lifespan than average batteries, the replaceable batteries only need to be changed every 5-6 years.
METEOR bollards incorporates the highest quality coating, FEVE (Fluoroethylene-Alkyl Vinyl Ether), often used for applications such as heavy-duty architectural and aerospace coatings. With a proven record of durability and weatherabilty, FEVE is often used as a topcoat which provides maximum resistance against UV damage, color fade, chalking, and lengthens lifespan by at least 15 years. FEVE conforms to rigorous AAMA 2605-02 standard which requires product to endure 10 years in the same harsh environment.
METEOR solar LED lights are designed to function normally and remain securely in place over time. Meteor lights are sealed to protect against high subsurface water levels, erosion, uneven shifting of soil and other elemental damage. They also utilize anti-theft anchor plates and specialized screws to protect from human elements.
METEOR lights offer high performance lighting, but operate at a low voltage of 1.8V-3.3V and are totally safe from electric leakage, meaning that they can be installed near areas such as fountains and pool decks without risk.
